"Block from Inbox" not working as expected

I have selected "Block from Inbox" for a particular user but when they share music to me, its still shows up in my inbox. I would expect this feature to stop this. Am I expecting this feature to do something it is not designed to do?

What device are you using? I don't appear to have that option on the desktop version?

I am using the windows desktop version.

Go to Inbox, then right click on username under "friend" column, then "Block from Inbox" should be an option in the context menu.

Ah I see it now, I never even knew that was there! 

If you click on "Filter" at the top and tap the "Only messages from friends......" option so they still show up?

Yes they do, as he is still a friend. I just want to block his "shares".

I think the most annoying part is the notification that shows and the message that gets sent via my facebook inbox.

Just got a reply from one of the community moderators. This is a known issue which has been reported and escalated internally. 

There is another similar report from a while back here.

It is being worked on, hopefully a fix will make it out soon!
