"New login to Spotify" email every time i open the app

"New login to Spotify" email every time i open the app

My Question or Issue

Every time I open the app, I get an email warning me of a "new login." This is the only device I ever use for Spotify. When I click on "Review" to see which devices/apps are connected, this device is not listed. How do I add my device so it is recognized/approved?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 
Are you using a VPN on your device? This could cause the system to trigger a warning email, so recommend turning that off.

 

If you still experience this, it might also be caused by an issue with your device's cache. Not to worry, performing a clean reinstall of the app with the steps here should help solve this.

 

Keep in mind that you'll need to re-download your offline music and podcasts afterwards.
