spotifiy isnt working

So i signed up for spotify using facebook and have always logged in with the facebook button without a problem its had me logged in for a year without problems now it randomly signed me out of spotify when i click log in with facebook it just says failure to log in when i manually enter my fb login it says its incorrect my facebook works just fine and is logged in iv tried uninstalling reisntalling bouth fb and spotify i pay 10$ a month for this service and iv had this issue for 4 days come out the blue for no reason id like of something i pay for to work the way its intended to.

When i click the log.in with facebook option to log into the forums it works just fine. Isnt that just neat.

It's worth trying to launch Spotify from inside Facebook. Click on the "Music" tab on the left of the Facebook homepage and then click any Spotify link. It should hopefully launch Spotify with your Facebook account logged in.

tried this as i read this helped some in a different thread no help when using spotifiy from my desktop it logs in with facebook and works just fine something to do with the mobile version isnt working for me it wont let me get into spotify thru www.facebook.com/music it just says error with logging in. I use a samsung galaxy s3 and since it updated to 4.4.2 kitkat andriod iv had this issue. Anything to due with spotifiy on my mobile doesnt work the forums wont log me in now and i was able to log in to the forums about 3 hours ago and post my first post now im on my desktop

 My spotify is due to renew tommarow and quite frankley im going to have to unsubscribe becuase its worthless to pay for a product i cant use i loved spotify untill now this frustrated me alot as iv had to go to the gym 4 days with no music because all my playlists are on spotify i have to listen to the RADIO in my car do you know how horrendus it is to listen to FM radio after being fm radio advertisement free for years DO YOU KNOW THE GARBAGE THEY PLAY ON THE RADIO MY LAWDD.

im no tech guru but my guess is some compatabilty errors between facebook spotifiy and adriod 4.4.2 kitkat

so i just uninstalled the new update on spotiify and now it lets me log in i updated it again and it wont allow so it looks like im stuck using the older version of spotifiy untill there is some sort of solution

This is no fix for the 4 days of horrundus radio music youve put me thru spotify. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

So I'm having the same problem you are it seems after the update except I don't use Facebook.

Spotifiy has been utter trash since the update. It is super slow when changing songs especially when your phone goes to sleep mode.

But that's besides the point. I turn on Spotfiy today and it completely freezes. Happened before so I restarted my phone. Except now it wants me to log back in. I put in my login info and it won't log in. It is the correct info. So I go to "Forgot my password" and put in my username and it says it sent me an email to change my password. Nope. Never got one. Tried numerous times.

So now I try to reset my password using my email address. When you do that it pops up a blank blue box above the email input field. It does the same thing on the website. That is laughable. You are charging people for a service and your password reset is broken. What the hell.

Cut to now... I tried to make another account with the email that Spotfiy seems to think I'm not using since it won't email a password reset to it and I get the message "email is in use." Of course it is.

So basically I'm being charged for a service I can't use. And I can't login to the account to take the credit card off so I can stop being charged for the broken service. Terrific Spotify. I've already sent an email requesting help and haven't recieved answer.

Oh and I forgot to ask... is there a way to uninstall the update on a phone? I can't login to my account at all so I'm not sure how I would even be able to do that on my desktop.

Can you log into the Spotify website using the details that get rejected by your phone (log out and try logging back in again)?

I have the same problem - on my samsung Galaxy mini I updated Facebook today and since then spotify will not allow me to enter. I wanted to try to enter directly and not through Facebook, but i only get the message that I should do it through Facebook. The option to go via Music in Facebook..I don't have any Music as an option there!

I can still login on my laptop, since Facebook hasn't been updated there. But I also don't want to pay if I can not use it on the mobile!

Strange, can definitely get this escalated and looked into. Can you guys let us know what version of Spotify and Facebook you are using on your devices?

Facebook is 8.0.0.26.24 and Spotify 1.0.0.82
