1 device but says 3 devices limit and now can't "play offline"

1 device but says 3 devices limit and now can't "play offline"

Hello Spotify community,

I love the app and the software in general (recently upgraded).

I figured out how to download my songs on my Samsung Galaxy S6 to play them offline and I don't know how, when I add new songs on my desktop, to automatically have them download on my phone for offline. So given that, I turned off and on the offline mode a few times in an attempt to redownload but I noticed that it said it was going to redownload all of the songs. This I guess didn't happen except for the new songs because my phone's storage is still the same.

Now given that, I can't play the songs offline anymore because of I guess hitting the offline button on and off a few times so it though I was using more devices than my device when in reality I wasn't, clearly.

So how can I fix this so I can 1, listen to my songs offline again, and 2, how to get them to download automatically when I add a song on desktop or if there is a method?

Thank you so much.

Best,

Chris
