278mb data in the background?? REALLY??

Ok, just had a warning from Orange that I had exceeded my 1gb data limit for the month. How is this possible I thought? I've not used the net a massive amount surely?... only to check and discover that Spotify has used 278mb of background data in the last month!!

Seriously, I thought this problem had been sorted out??? Looks like I'm going back to Deezer again until it's dealt with!

Unfortunately, there is still an open bug about this issue here. 

I am guessing you are listening to offline playlists when this happened?

Hiya,

Yup, offline playlists which had been synced the previous evening. I never stream music unless connected to wifi as I'm very aware of the 1gb data plan from Orange.

I did actually find the other forum on here just after posting my initial rant! lol.

I do think it's somewhat insane that this bug hasn't been given top priority being as it's costing customers money in most cases!
