ANDROID: Now playing top bar restarts song if song removed from playlist

My Question or Issue

When clicking the top bar in the now playing screen on android you are directed to the current playlist and get the current playing song in view (in contrast to the web-player, the ios app and the desktop application which just send you to the top of the playlist). 

This does not work if you remove the current playing song from the current playlist. Earlier (and nowadays on ios) you got sent (correctly) to the top of the current playlist or (erroneously) to the current songs album.  Since the last update you get sent to the current songs album, the song starts over and the current "playlist" is now the album. Which is worse. Way worse.

Reproduce: Start listening to a playlist, open the "currently playing song" view, remove the current song from the playlist, and while listening to the song, press the top bar "PLAYING FROM PLAYLIST [name]", cry.

Ok, the area which previously (and on other plattforms) goes to the
current playlist, suddenly on android restarts the currently playing
song (if it isn't in the current playlist anymore) is obviously a bug,
could please put it in your jira backlog?
