Adding songs from one playlist to another sends you to the top of the playlist

I just wanna add one(or more) to another playlist from one i'm already on- the playlist im tranferring from is VERY long, so getting sent to the top after grabbing a song from the bottom is very disorienting and GREATLY irritating. how can i stop this from happening? im using a samsung note20 ultra

Could you let us know the version of Spotify you're running? You can check that in the app's settings > About. Feel free to also share the troubleshooting you've tried so far so we avoid repeating the steps. If you haven't already, try clearing the app's cache and data, or reinstalling it completely to see if that would do the trick.

A screen recording which shows this behavior in action would also be greatly appreciated. That way we can get a clear idea of how things look on your end.
