Ads playing over podcast content

Ads playing over podcast content

Hi

Im playing JRE MMA show 146 and the adverts are playing over the content of the podcast, so you can hear the ad and the podcast at the same time, I've noticed this with other recent jre episodes as well

Hey there @cpfcoles

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community!

Could you let us know if this happens across devices or only on a specific one? We'd also like to know if the same happens while using a different internet connection.

If it happens across devices and over any internet connection, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

Lastly, does this happen with all podcasts or only with the one you mentioned?

We'll be waiting for your reply.

I'm having the exact same issue with the JRE podcasts. The podcast will continue to play when an advert starts rolling, making you hear both simultaneously. This problem is maybe a month old now.

Hi there @Harbd,

Thanks for the reply. Is only the JRE podcast affected? Could you send us a screen recording of the behaviour? If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

Keep us posted.
