My Question or Issue

I just installed the August 11, 2020 update on my phone, and after that, when I try to open an album or an artist's profile, an "Error" message will appear.

I've already deleted the app twice and done a clean reinstall, and still will display the same message and I'm unable to access the album or profile's content.

I have also checked my network and is working completely fine.

Can you confirm if this affects all artist profiles or just the ones you're following? Also, let us know if you get the error message when logging in to your Spotify account on a different device. This can help us investigate if the issue might be device-related. 

 

Considering the error message mentions checking your connection it's also a good idea to test if you observe the same under a different network. If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information.
