All my downloaded music has been deleted on android

I had 12gb of music downloaded onto my phone. All this music has been deleted from save on the app. I am in Malawi for 10 weeks and my only access to internet is over mobile data. The app has been connected to the internet regularly over this data. This is unnaceptable as I now have no way of accessing my music without paying mass amounts for internet which I cannot afford to do.
