My Question or Issue

A friend (using iOS) tried to share an album with me by an artist we both like (UTAU by Ryuichi Sakamoto). I tried searching for it, but it wouldn't show up. He then sent me the link: https://open.spotify.com/album/6mSXKYAQh59mF11BjUDVI0

When I opened it on my phone (Pixel 2) , I see that all the tracks are grayed out. I then tried opening it on the desktop app (Windows 10). Same problem. They're grayed out on the web player as well.

When I get home I asked my wife to look it up on her iPhone, and she could search for it and play the tracks. We're on the same family plan.

It can't be region locked, because we all registered our accounts in the US. It can't be an account-related issue, because my wife and I are on the same family plan. I don't think it's related to me being on an Android Beta, because it doesn't appear on desktop or the web player either. All I can think is that, for some reason, this album is only available to iOS users? Is that even possible?

I've tried disabling/re-enabling "show unplayable tracks". I've restarted the app multiple times. Any tips? Thank you!

Hey there @shlootermcgavin,

Thanks for reaching out to us here in the Community and welcome!

No worries, our tech teams are aware about this issue.

Keep in mind that the album you're looking for isn't available in the US at the moment which would explain why you're having troubles seeing it on your other devices.

However, this should be fixed now in the latest version of the app on iOS devices. If you're still having troubles, we'd recommend trying a quick reinstall of the app following the steps here

Let us know how you get on! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to give us a shout and we'll be happy to lend a hand.

Have a lovely day 🙂

Hi. Thanks for the update! What do you mean when you say it's "fixed"? That it now won't show up for anyone in the US?
