[Android 9] lockscreen shows spotify notification but no information with it

My Question or Issue

As said in title when spotify is playing a song on the lockscreen a banner/ box with the word spotify shows up but nothing else so i cant see album art or song name or spause/play and skipping options.

Thanks for reaching out to us. 

 Please follow these steps: 

1. Log out from everywhere.
2. Do a clean reinstall as described here.  
3. If that does not help go to:

• Mobile Settings> Apps> Spotify> Permissions. Allow everything you see there.
• Mobile settings> Apps> Spotify> Battery> Optimize battery usage> select top All (not optimized for apps)> Spotify> disable.
• Then restart the device.
