[Android Auto] Stops showing music Artists

After the recent update, spotify stopped showing Artists along with the song name on the playback screen.

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the Community. 

If the content in the Android Auto app is not showing properly, you might need to reinstall it. Also, please make sure that it's running the latest firmware. 

If this doesn't do the trick, we suggest you do the steps listed in the solution of this thread. Even if the topic is slightly different, the steps can work the same.

the problem I'm having is more specific.
In the mobile app, it doesn't happen.
It only happens when shown on the car display.

Eventually, the problem reported by other users also occurs when I connect the phone to the car (via USB) with the message "spotify does not seem to be available"

Thank you for keeping us on the loop!

Could you send us a picture showing how the Android Auto looks when you open the playback screen? This might help us investigate further. 

Also, we recommend connecting to a different WIFI/Mobile network and check how the app works there.
