My Question or Issue
While playing from a playlist, I can no longer remove a song from the playlist. This should be possible both by the Kebab menu (three vertical dots): whereas I suspect the second or third item (below Like and Add to playlist) should be "Remove from playlist", or by tapping on the banner atop the fullscreen player pane (which says for me "Playing from Playlist" then the playlist name in bold on a new line). Tapping on this takes me to the playlist, but not the song's position in the playlist.
This has been working fine up until the latest version (08/22/2023) so I suspect it's an unintended bug.

Hi @Servinjesus1!
The "Remove from this playlist" option in the Now Playing View is currently available only on iOS devices, but your feedback on this is appreciated, so I'll forward it to the right folks. In the meantime, you can locate the song in the playlist and remove it from the three dots menu (in Playlist View).
As for the banner atop the Now Playing View not taking you to the currently playing song's position, this doesn't seem to happen on my Android (I'm running the same version of Spotify as you). Could you share a short screen recording which captures this in action so we can take a closer look?
If you haven't already, logging out from the app (Settings > Log out) and signing back in to your account - this will trigger an internal refresh of the app that may help here. It's also worth trying clearing Spotify's cache and data from your device's Settings > Apps > Spotify > Storage. Just note that you'll be logged out and your settings will be reset, so you'll have to adjust them again. If you had music downloaded for offline listening, you'll have to re-download it as well. Your library, however, will not be affected, so no worries there.
Keep us posted on this. Cheers!

Thanks, Yordan. Relogging seemed to help even after clearing the cache did not. Looking forward to the removal feature being added to Android for making playlist management easier and less susceptible to glitches like this.
There is no option remove the song in the playlist view using the three dots. What happened?
Hey @Papalegbutt,
Thanks for joining the thread!
I tested this and the option is visible for me when I'm inside the playlist. If I try to open the Now Playing View and select the three dots it's not available but I believe that's by design. Could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end so that we can take a better look at the situation? Much appreciated!
Weirdly. Remove from playlist is showing for all songs in one of playlist, except for songs by one specific artist. The playlist is mine, created by me. And I am unable to remove songs by one artist. What is going on? - Android
Hey, @Beeeble,
