[Android] Recent update on android phone

I am really disappointed in what the update has done with my phone app. I have a Samsung 5S (yes it's older) the exit "x" button disappeared from top right corner and sometimes I'm forced to log out to stop the player. It made my phone freeze up and I had to power down. I'm a paying customer. I emailed customer service and I was told they don't support phones. Really? ? They did try and help but in the end said "sorry this is part of the update, nothing we can do". They suggested I post here. If this isn't fixed I may try other apps that work better. I use the music on my phone most of the time.
