Android TV - sideloaded - can't log in anymore

Anyone else have problems logging in on Spotify on Android TV (Nexus player). I installed it earlier this week and it worked until today (Friday). When I went to play some music today All I got when I opened Spotify was a black/grey screen with the menu icon.

I restarted Spotify. No help.
Rebooted the Nexus Player. No help.
Removed temp files. No help.
Removed data. No help. Now I get the login screen but I can't log in.

Does anyone else have the same problem on sideloaded Spotify on Android TV (Nexus Player)?

EDIT: Speeling errors. Spotify worked ok on the Nexus player with a mouse.
