Android & Desktop Ads Locking Bug

Heya, I've noticed lately; first on Android, now on Desktop, that your ads service is sometimes not registering that the ad has been completed.  If you try to do some other task in the app, you are warned that it will start once the ad has finished but the ad is at the end of its duration and just kind of stuck there.  I've even tried pausing and playing the ad again, at which point it replays the full ad but still does not move forward in validating that the ad has been watched and normal play can resume.  At first on Android, I thought it was maybe just some sort of a connection issue (which still should not yield this user experience.. but I was a little more forgiving about), but now, I am seeing the same bug on Desktop.

Same here its really annoying specially because after the add, i cant skip the Songs after it plus it happends to me every 1-3 ads that show up and a simple fix is to close spotify and restart it...Still time wasted on a bug with a rather simple fix.

I'm having the same bug with the spotify desktop version (PC)...since September 2016...will someone from the Spotify team tell us if this is going to be fixed soon ?

I just read in another topic that someone was facing the same problem...but the topic was closed because the user didn't responded.

So I will post here some informations asked by the Spotify team to help solve the bug :

My actual version of Spotify : 1.0.36.124.g1cba1920

Approximate date where the problem happened : late July 2016, I think (It never happened before)

Description of the Ad : An Ad for Spotify ! (at least the last I can remember)

Edit : another minor bug happened, When I listened to the song I was listening before the bug, the playing time isn't displayed anymore, the "playing bar" display 0:30 (duration of  the ad) instead, and nothing moves (after I restarted spotify again, playing time is displayed again...the two things are maybe related...)
