Android app hangs whenever you open it on Samsung S8

This worked fine on my old phone, but I've just upgraded to a Samsung S8, and now whenever you open the app, it just hangs until you get a message saying "Spotify isn't responding".

I've tried disabling the battery saving function, and reinstalling Spotify - same result. I can login (takes a few minutes to log in), and then it will hang.

The solution was to do a soft reset (hold volume down and power button until phone restarts). All good now.
