Android app independently signing me out and deleteing my offline playlists

Recently my Spotify app has been acting out. Twice this week i have been signed out of the app, and after signing in I notice that none of my recently downloaded playlists are available offline. Twice. This. Week. What makes this even more irritating is that spotify still holds the 11GB of storage that it did when the playlists were available offline. This issue has been with me for a couple of weeks now.

Moreover, whenever i switch from offline to online mode or vice versa, the whole app just freezes. This has been an issue for a couple of months now and nothing I do seems to do the trick. 

Things i have tried to fix both of these issues:

-Restarting the phone

-Reinstalling the app

-Using both SD and internal as storage

-Futile attempts like clearing cache, updating the app, only downloading a fraction of the music i normally would..

Nothing works. Any help would be highly appreciated. Cheers
