Android phone not showing up under Devices on spotify PC despite being connected to the same wifi

Hi!

I'm having a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo not showing up under Devices on Spotify PC, despite both being on the same wifi network. 

I'm able to control the music on my PC from my phone through Spotify connect(?), so something must be right..

I've reinstalled Spotify on PC and my phone, but the problem is still there, I'm not able to get my local files to my phone..

The attachment shows spotify on my desktop, the phone is controlling the music, but it's not shown up under devices.

Any help would be appreciated. 🙂

I had the exact same problem with the phone as you (s5 neo). I sent an email to spotify support about this and they told me to just reinstall the application on my phone.

Now I see that you've done this but my recommendations is to try and do it again. But this time make a playlist (on your computer client) with only song that heritates from your local library. And when you've reinstalled your app try and make this new playlist available offline first. Worked for me anyways.
