Android phone unable to play anything

My Question or Issue

Phone is unable to play any music, opens a track but stays still at 0:00 no matter what.

I can use the same account on my android tablet and pc without any problems. 

If I log in with my wifes account (account holder of family premium) spotify works perfectly on the phone.

Things I've tried

Uninstall and clean cache and clear data

Factory reset and install spotify

Uninstall, clean cache and data, reset phone and install again
