My watches: Mobvoi´s Ticwatch E
Problem: After start Spotify app writes me "Connection failed" 😞

Me too... Don't start Spotify android app from the smartwatch.
Please, develop a full Android Wear 2.0
version (offline listen).
My Wear24 will not connect as well. Continues on 'connecting' forever.
Doesn't work on my Huawei W2 either, it also forces the android app to re-start and act strange on my Galaxy S7.
Please fix this.....
I have the same problem, I have Spotify installed on my Ticwatch E and my spotify on my Samsung S7 crashes if I try to connect my watch to the phone through spotify.
I Hope they fix this issue!

The exact same issue on my Nexus 5x + Ticwatch S combo.
No work back from Spotify on this issue yet 😞
EDIT: Finally got a response back from Spotify Support.
"This issue has been reported to our development team. Hopefully, it can be fixed in the next update"
In the meantime, it sounds like we are out of luck until this is high enough on the Spotify developers priority list.
