My Question or Issue

Update 2019. Mobil version of this app still sucks for the most part. I have full wifi at work in Silicon Valley and still takes forever to load lists of songs and results of searches. SPOTIFY your app is BROKEN! Why cant I just play all my songs on shuffle without having to load them in a list? I just want to get to the shuffle all button as fast as possible, but then it fails. Your search stalls ALL the time. I'm on a brand new phone so no excuses this time.

Thanks for reporting this in the Community! 

Have you tried a clean reinstall? It's different than a quick reinstall and can help improving the performance of the app. 

What could also be causing your issue and is worth checking are the phone Settings:

1. Mobile Settings> Apps> Spotify> Permissions. Allow everything you see there.
2. Mobile settings> Apps> Spotify> Battery> Optimize battery usage> select top All (not optimized for apps)> Spotify> disable.
3. Additionally, you can restart the phone.

Still doesn't load my liked songs (I have 2085) after doing a complete reset. Also podcasts on this app are not loading. App stalls when loading artists, podcast episodes, and even shows.

Seriously there are so many spinning wheels in this app you should rename it Spinnify.

I am having the same issues as you.  I completely wiped Spotify off of my phone, reinstalled, and still have the same issues.
