My Question or Issue

Sometimes when I try to start a podcast, the Spotify app crashes down. In some podcasts everything works perfectly but ins some other podcasts, it doesnt matter which Episode I want to listen to, the app crashes down even before the Episode starts. There is no difference between downloaded or non-downloaded episodes. I had this Problem some weeks ago, then it was better but yesterday, it started again. With normal Music, everything works without Problems.

Thank you for your help,

Felix

Hey @Felix180, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? If that doesn't help, let me know what happens exactly when you start the podcast - and let me know if this happens only with a certain podcast name, and if it happens when you use external audio systems (like headphones, or speakers).

Keep me posted!

This keeps happening to me too. Has happened several times this year. Podcasts won't play but music will. If this continues I'll have to cancel my subscription. I've tried several clean re-install, clear cache and done any updates available but NOTHING works and as soon as I open a podcast the app crashes immediately. I'm in the UK and using a Huawei.
