App crashes phone, and unable to clean install.

App crashes phone, and unable to clean install.

Hey guys. Premium user for about a year.

Device: Huawei p9 Lite (VNS-L22)

Android Version: 6.0

What happens:

I'm able to start the application with little issue. It doesn't seem to matter-offline mode, online, other devices connected to Spotify or not, it crashes after roughly a minute or two of use. And not just the application-my entire device.

What I've tried:

-I've done the time-tested "log in, then airplane mode, log out, log back in, turn 4g back on" process several times. No improvement.

-Reinstalled at least seven times. No improvement.

-Made sure I have no battery management systems enabled on my phone. No improvement.

-Attempted a clean install in both regular and safe modes. When attempting to remove all previous Spotify files from my phone, it crashes shortly after attempting. My phone displays 7% progress, and then crashes, again.

-Enabled the "complete uninstall" option (where it attempts to delete all of an application's files upon uninstallation). Crashes phone in online mode, offline mode, safe mode, and regular browsing mode.

I never had any issues like this until this past july.  This would normally resolve itself (somehow) after a day or two, and I was never able to sort it out.

This time, though, the issue has persisted for almost four days.

I've run all of the necessary updates for every single application on my phone, and my current OS says it is up to date.

I'm going on a major road trip in about two weeks, and need to know that I can rely on my Spotify application for that. If I don't get some sort of absolution some time this week, I'll be switching to another service.
