App freezes every few songs

My Question or Issue

The spotify app on my Samsung Galaxy S9 freezes about every 2 to 3 songs, usually in the middle of a song. When I open the app, the song appears to be playing (pause button is visible). Sometimes, the song will start playing again. Sometimes, I have to press pause then restart the song. Sometimes, I have to kill and restart the app. I've installed and reinstalled the app twice, rebooting the phone and making sure all phone updates have been installed before reinstalling the app. Paying way too much for this nonsense, which is quite inconvenient while running. Thinking about Pandora...

Thanks for sharing this in the Community! Also, excuse the belated reply. We understand how important it is for you to have your music with you while running. 

Could you follow the steps in this post in the exact same order as given there and let us know what happens?
