My Question or Issue


Most of the times I open the Spotfiy App, my phone completly freezes when the screen is lock, sometimes I can unlock but almost always I can't and my phone reboot itself.
It's awful use the App.

It's not the Battery Optimizer and this problem has been happening to me for 1 year.

Hey there again @agustinglez,

 

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

 

If you have an SD card we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app since the card can be corrupted.

 

It would also be great if you could confirm if you have enabled Permissions for Spotify by going to Settings>Apps>Spotify>Permissions? 

 

If they're all enabled, would you mind letting us know which version of the app you have?

 

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We just came across this thread.

 

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

 

If that doesn't do the trick, can you make sure that your OS is on the latest version?

Hi.
Yes, I did a clean reinstall and also a factory reset of my phone. I have the alst version of my OS, all up to date.

Not fixed yet.

Hi Jeremy.

After a few days of testing, I removed the SD card and move all app data to Internal Storage.
It's work! The app doesn't freeze anymore.
