App takes time to see the internet connection

I leave my 4g on, and I have a solid connection, yet everytime I open the app it takes up to a minute to detect the connection. In the meantime everything is greyed out and the bottom says no internet connection available. What can I do?

What device, andoid and spotify versions are you using? Could you try removing the cache from the spotify settings screen to see if it gets any better?
