Art over Bluetooth missing

Hello,

I am using Spotify connected to a BMW over bluetooth. Song name, artist and current time are correctly displayed but the pictures for song/album covers are missing. I am using Samsung Note 3 with Android 5.0. I have updated the firmware of the BMW myself and later went to thr dealer for him to do it and they say it's the latest version. It does not show with Samsung galaxy S6 too but it works for iPhone. It seems like Android problem with Spotify over bluetooth.

Can you help me somehow?

Just wondering if you get album art when streaming from another service such as Google Play Music or Pandora?

Hmm, I did not tried that. Pandora is not working here in Bulgaria unless you root your phone to use something like Orbot and then Pandora. I just tried Google play music and it also doesn't show art
Maybe it is android problem over bluetooth then?

I did a quick google search and it seems that album art generally isn't shown when streamed music is played over a bluetooth connection from an android device. I'm not technical enough to pin it down to where the issue lies though, sorry.
