Artist radio automatically starts after I finished playing an album

Solved!

Artist radio automatically starts after I finished playing an album

Since today, whenever I finished playing an album, Spotify will automatically start playing the associated 'artist radio'. This is quite a problem when I'm not connected to Wifi because although the album is downloaded to my phone, the songs on the radio channel are not, so it uses up my data volume without me even noticing. As a intermediate solution I switched to offline mode. Now, I'm getting an error message when an album finished playing, something like: Cannot play artist radio, need internet connection. But I never wanted to play any artist radio in the first place, and have no idea why Spotify would want to do this all of a sudden! Does anyone else have this issue and maybe knows a solution?

Thanks in advance!

Check your spotify settings to see if you have an "autoplay" setting. If so, turn it off and everyting should be back to normal.
