Artist random is not playing older material

On PC Spotify's the random-option is working quite well, but on Android it does not. If I select particular artist and use the random play, it will most likely play new material only. For example for band Children of Bodom it will consist only the newest album and it's commentary album. For any other artist it would also play very much less the older material than the new one. Is there a setting for these kind of things or is this o a bug of some kind?

Ah yes, random play... It's getting better but still needs a lot of work. This is not going to be of comfort, but iI can tell you that you are not the only one to say the random feature isn't that random. It is something Spotify is aware of and they are slowly improving it
