My Question or Issue

Hi,

I have autoplay switched off, but songs are added to my queue regardless and there's no way to clear them without clearing my own songs from my queue as well.

If I do this and then add my songs back to the queue, other songs are automatically added to the queue afterwards.

For context, I play music / meditations / stories to play for my kids at bed time so specifically don't want it to play endlessly and, preferably, I'd like to not have to be checking to catch it at just the right time to stop when I want it to.

Thanks

Hi there @Alidp,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

It's possible that you have Smart Shuffle enabled: the feature adds song recommendations to the queue which, if you like, can keep in the playlist. To turn it off, open the playlist, tap the Shuffle button and switch to regular play/shuffle.

In case the issue persists, please share a short screen recording which captures the described behavior in action so we can investigate further.

Cheers 🤘
