Aux Cord Trouble

Whenever I plug in my aux cord into my car and try to play Spotify, it will only play the backgrounds of songs. Like I can hear the instruments and background vocals loud, but no actual main vocals. It's only with the aux; the headphones are fine. I don't know how to fix it and I'm frustrated.

Have you checked the cord is compatible with android's audio socket? Have you tried another lead?
