Bluetooth connected, sounds work, but when I skip the sound stops

Hello ! 

I just bought new headphones, wireless sound reduction fresh'n'rebel ones (bought them from action) 

Everything was fine, listened to music for half an hour without issue until at some point, when I skipped a song for another, no sound would come out, even though the time still goes. And if I put pause and play, the sounds comes back 

It happens quite frequently, so much it's annoying 

So I figure, maybe update all the apps and the phone itself, turn off and on again, but it keeps doing it and I'm upset 

Even more so that my younger brother linked the headphones to his phone, used Spotify too and didn't have the issue

I figured it can't be the headphones since it works with my brother's

So is there a setting or something to change that could fix this ?

To make sure we covered all the basics, would you mind confirming if you have performed a clean reinstall of the app? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article. 

If the issue persists, it would be great if you could have your little brother log in with their account on your device to see if the issue persists. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
