Bug: Android 11+' output switcher doesn't work with Spotify Connect

Starting a while back from Android 11, Android introduced an audio output switcher right from the media notification (the notification that shows what music is currently playing, along with media controls). It allows for switching not only between Bluetooth devices, but also Cast devices (starting with Android 13).

The problem is that it's impossible to choose a Spotify Connect device from the Spotify media notification: the Output Switcher doesn't show those. This means that even though users can change the output to a Bluetooth device with just 2 taps in the notification panel, switching to a Spotify Connect...

...device requires them to stop what they're doing, go to the home screen, open Spotify, tap the Spotify Connect button, and finally switch to the Spotify Connect they want.

Could you please arrange for the Output Switcher to show Spotify Connect devices? I think it would make life a lot easier for many Spotify users (the Spotify users who use Spotify Connect on Android 11+, which keep increasing in numbers).

 

Spotify version: 8.8.52.458

Android version: 14

Phone: Google Pixel
