Can not log in after update

Can not log in after update

My Android client was updated maybe about a week ago and I can no longer login.

After an update a few days earlier, all my donwloads were removed.

Now after this update I am prompted to log in (I can not add any screenshot because it is forbidden!? **bleep**?) and if I choose "use facebook" I am told that I am currently offline and to go online. 
Upon clicking "connect" I see a black screen for about 2 minutes and am then presented the same prompt again.

Thanks. Could you try reinstalling spotify, following all the steps here then try logging in again.

Hello. Could you please post some details:

  1. The make/model of your android device
  2. The android version
  3. The spotify version (you can get this in the app manager).

Thanks. Could you try reinstalling spotify, following all the steps here then try logging in again.

Reinstalling worked, thanks. 
I had been hoping to get in without that but, well...

 

My guess still is that my Spotify was in offline mode before the update and hence blocking the login after so maybe someone should look into that...

Yeah it's something they're aware of and have supposedly fixed in an update which is why I was asking for your spotify version. Sigh.
