My Question or Issue


Since this most recent updates, this "widget" is running all the time. I can't seem to shut this specifically off without shutting off other things which doesn't make sense to me. Even if I haven't used Spotify all day this will still show on my phone and there's no reason for it to be there. This is why I swipe down to show the notifications bar.

It says that you can "remove" it if you long press for a few seconds. That will make it go away for a little bit but it always comes back. Even if I don't use the app it will show back up.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

Try logging out, restarting your phone, and logging back in. If that doesn't make any difference, go to your phone's settings and disable the Spotify notifications to appear on the notifications bar on your phone.
