Can't add albums to playlist

I can't add full albums to playlists. This issue is supposed to be fixed per a thread from 2019, but it's still not working.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this. 
 

We were able to reproduce adding an album to a playlist successfully on a mobile Android device. You can try running a clean reinstall since this will refresh the current version of your Spotify app. Follow the steps described here on how to perform this.  

In case the clean reinstall doesn't help, make sure to disable your power saving or data cleaning settings. You can also authorize Spotify to run without restrictions despite the mentioned settings being enabled. This will allow the app to operate at full capacity.
