Can't add my playlists on homescreen

My Question or Issue

I have always been able to add my playlists to my homescreen (which I find aesthetically pleasing), but lately it has come to my attention that I haven't been able to do so anymore. Has the option just been fully removed? and if so, will it be brought back?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

We can confirm this feature is not currently available on the Spotify app. 

Nevertheless, for the playlists, we have a new feature that gives you the ability to pin up to 4 items to the top of Your Library. These items can be playlists, playlist folders, albums, artists, or podcasts.

On another note, we'd like to add that another user had a similar request, so they posted this idea about it. Feel free to add your vote to it in the thumbs up icon and you can also subscribe to it in the three-dot menu, that way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.

This is a bad faith change and it should be reverted as soon as possible.

Pinning playlist to the home screen  is a great feature that distincts the android experience from IOS.

Please, don't do this.

I also miss the ability to add playlists AND albums to the homescreen!

The new "pin" feature for the library doesn't make sense to me as I have and use a large collection of albums and playlists. It's easier and clearer for me to place them on the homescreen.

Please make it possible again!
