Can't log in to Spotify Live. Constantly get "Something went wrong".

Hello. I've been trying to log into Spotify Live from my Android phone. It was super laggy when first released for Android (as Greenroom) months ago and wouldn't let me log in half the time. I basically gave up. With the change to "Spotify Live", I was hoping it would be better, but still more of the same. I can't get passed the log in screen, even though I am signed in to the main app just fine, I consistently get the message of "Something went wrong" with the login. It occasionally works with my iPad. Any ideas or advice? Thanks.
