Can't login on a Sony Xperia Z5

I got an email prompting me to change my password. I went to the Spotify site and did that. I have verified that my login is correct through the website multiple times however the app keeps telling me that it is an invalid password or username.

I have tried:

- resetting the phone

- resetting the password again

- reinstalling spotify. 

Spotify version is 5.6.0.701

Android version is 5.1.1

Hello?? Still can't login on my phone. Reinstalled, updated, you name it. This is getting more than a little ridiculous.

I have now fully updated Android as well. Still not working and still no answer from Spotify? This is the absolute bare minimum functionality I expect from Spotify and there is literally no reason for me to continue with a subscription. So far my 0.99 cent subscription has shown me that it is a glitchy mess that can't meet it's most basic function. Absolutely brutal.

Are there any community managers listening to this?!? This is insane. It is STILL not working despite mulitlple reinstalls, changing the password repeatedly and now it's been a week and a half with no answers. This is absolutely atrocious service and at this point I am beyond annoyed. This will be a zero review and an absolute avoid at all costs recommendation to anyone that will listen. Nonsense
