Can't play local files on mobile

My Question or Issue

Firstly, sorry for my bad English. My friend has a problem with playing local files but we both did the same step. However I success but he can't. His local files will turn into gray color in mobile. He already makes sure his phone and PC using the same wifi. Also, antiviruses software and firewall both allowed Spotify. Therefore, we both have no idea what wrong.

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here! 

It's a good idea to let your friend try changing the source location of the local files on their PC. They must simply create a new folder in a different directory on the PC and move the local files to this folder. They'll also have to delete the old folder used for the local files. Now they can try importing the files to the mobile device again.
