Can't play video podcasts if i have VPN turned on

My Question or Issue

Everything else works fine with VPN on, but if I want to play a podcast that has a video, it says "We're not able to play this video in your current location".

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

We don't recommend using a VPN with Spotify on any device as it can cause several issues and we're not able to offer support for that.

You might be getting this error message, because podcasts and video podcasts are not available in every country.

Thanks for your message. 

That's correct. VPNs are not officially supported, so it's possible that you'll encounter issues with the app on any device that's using one.
