Cannot play SPOTIFY via OK GOOGLE (Google Assistant)

My Question or Issue

"OK Google" "Play Spotify My Wife by the Who" DOES NOT WORK on my Samsung S22 Ultra.  Tried reinstalling, rebooting, etc.  Any ideas?

RESPONSE from S22 Ultra:  "I can't directly control Spotify to play music, but I can dhelp you find "My Wife" by The Who on spotify.  Happened when the A.I. interface took over Google Assistant.

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the  troubleshooting you've tried so far.

As a next step, try different versions of the command (e.g. Play "My Wife" by The Who on Spotify). If that doesn't help, try re-linking your Spotify account in the Google Assistant settings. To do this:

1. Say "Open Assistant settings"
2. Navigate to Music.
3. Select No default provider.
4. Under Spotify, select Unlink and confirm your choice.
5. Again, under Music click on the link icon next to Spotify and go through the steps to link your account again.

It would also be helpful if you can clarify what you mean by the A.I. interface taking over Google Assistant.

Go to Settings, Apps, Assistant and select Open. Should tell you that you have Gemini as a default,  change back to Google Assistsnt.
