Cant update Spotify on my Samsung S5 (In UAE)

Hi, 

I did not update spotify app before going to UAE for business trip. Now I cant listening to it as google playstore does not allow me to update the app here in UAE.

Feeling frustrated for not able to use it when I really needed to.

Go to: https://m.spotify.com/us/?group=android on your mobile device and select the "manually download option" which will let you install the latest update.

Just be sure to jump back to the Google Play version when you get home so you get updates. 😉

Well the link, i was able to download some . apk files, but I still could not run spotify as it still ask for download from google play store.

Try removing Spotify then running the apk?

That would means deleting my playlist and downloaded songs?

Yes but the new spotify release won't use the old cache anyway I'm afraid. This is part of the"security fix".
