My Issues

My problems began with the update where they changey the filters in the library. Now I see every Artist, playlist and album and I have to filter what i want to see. All my playlists are sorted in folders and I don't download every playlist I have (not enough space on phone).

 

1. Problem is, if I download playlists they vanish from my library (yes, I know I have to filter by downloaded).

 As exapmple the folder 'Big Stomp' Shows that it contains two playlists. So I click on it. It says there are no playlists. Wich is right. I downloaded the two playlists. So so far it seems right.

 

Then I filter downloaded Playlists.

 You can see the filter works as the playlist "Die drei??? - Fall der Woche" vanishes. The playlist is not downloaded so thats correct. If I now select the Folder 'Big Stomp'. The playlist dont show up. But they should because they are downloaded.

 

2. Problem the Albumcover and replay are bugged.

 So... the 3:11 Song has played for over 740 minutes?! Actually no. If I press play a competely different playlist is played. It playes the Playlist I selected on my PC. But even as the song on the playlist changes, this Album art doesnt change to the albumart of the song currently playing. Thing is, my phone is not connected to the pc anymore. If i select a song on my phone it plays but the albumcover atill doesnt change and it continues to count 740+ minutes played. 

 

But the best part comes now. All the Issues still are present after I tried:

-restart phone

-delete downloads

-sign out and back in in app

-reinstall the app

 

 

I have no clue what the problem is, I hope someone can help.

  • Regarding the first issue with downloads disappearing - Spotify is informed of this issue and are currently investigating why it's happening. You can head over here for more info. Don't forget to add your +Vote and subscribe to stay up to date with any development.

 

  • Regarding the second issue - you can head over here.

 

These issues arise as a combination of the new UI release and some devices. They're currently being worked on, however we don't have any official info when they will be fixed.
