Completely unable to use my wifi speakers with downloaded music

I have tried with both my sonos speakers and google home which usually both let me connect and play music very easily, but with downloaded local files it is undoable. The songs play just fine over my phone speakers or headphones, so it feels really weird that it just will not let me use wifi speakers
