Could someone please explain how to play downloaded spotify music on poweramp

Poweramp doesn't seem to be able to find the downloaded music from spotify. Is there anyway for me to be able to play my music downloads from spotify on poweramp since I prefer poweramps player. Thanks

Spotify tunes only play on spotify apps/ players as far as I'm aware. What's not to like, friend? Can't really say I object to using the software provided (regular user of android & Apple versions).

This is because Spotify has to encrypt the music for licencing regulations. Only the Spotify app can decrypt and play

Man, I think you crawled into my head and then you asked exactly what I did. Funny this. Have you any ideas. I know if Spotify could work with Poweramp it would be mega.

Dear Spotify Friend,

Spotify and Poweramp are completely incompatible. There is absolutely no way to interface them as Spotify's proprietary database will not allow for it. There are other equalizer available on Google Play. You might want to give one of those a go.
