Won't play in background

It'll play a song or 2 while opened in the background but it eventually stops and I have to open it back up to get it to keep playing. I've never had this problem before.

on the android app on my phone when i select an album the full track listing does not show maybe between 1 - 5 songs show in the album i have to select show full album option to see all songs in the album, this is happening across all my saved albums...
