Create profile: email taken; Log in: email not connected to account

Create profile: email taken; Log in: email not connected to account

Everytime I try to log in to my spotify account it says that my email is not connected to my account and then when I tried to create an account with the same email it says that it is taken by an account already... I don't know what could fix it and its beyond just the app as I can log in with other emails just fine and it says the same thing on my browser as well. I've had this account for over 2 years and would love a point in the right direction

This happens when your account has been disabled. There could be several causes for this:

  • Country change - If you have a free account and you've recently relocated, you'd need to log in your account page and update the country of your account in order to use it.
  • Fraudulent activity - This could be cause if somebody has tried to log in your account from multiple locations/devices without success.
  • Chargeback.
